About the painting:
This painting is a play on painting trees. The center yellow glows like the sunlight shining into the dark forest of abstract trees. One tree is highlighted by the sun's ray. This tree is painted with bold strokes of brown and green. I centered the tree, on stage, enjoying it's moment in the sun.

I used burnt umber, raw sienna, yellow ochre, yellows, and white for the background. Dark green, burnt umber, and raw sienna for the tree. The painting is sealed with acrylic varnish
