About the Painting:
My inspiration for this playful painting is the displays of flat sided gemstones in the bead section of hobby stores. I always think of flower centers when I see them. I decided I needed to try adding them to a painting.
The flowers were painted in cheerful pinks, yellows, and lavender acrylic paints. I used a Pitt permanent art pen to draw in the details to give the painting a whimsical feel. The gemstones were glued with E6000 glue to permanently attached them to the canvas. I had fun creating this painting. Enjoy!
