About the drawing:
This is the 2nd in a series of Eagle portrait drawings. I've enjoyed watch the various Eagle Cams over the years. Watching the online cameras to see the adults eagles nesting and raising their babies is such fun. Many times I have drawn the eagles as they are sitting on their nests. This drawing is from several of my sketches and a few photos I took over the years.
I used 4B and 6B graphite pencils for this small eagle portrait. A light spray of acrylic varnish keeps the drawing from smearing.
