About the painting:
I painted this strong, proud eagle with whites, grays, yellows, brown acrylic paints. The American flag was painted some what abstractly and muted to give the feel of Old Glory. I used with red, whites, and blues, with a wash of white. A glaze of yellow was painted to look like sun rays coming up over the flag and back lighting the eagle.
