About the drawing:
I've enjoyed watch the various Eagle Cams over the years. Watching the online cameras to see the adults eagles nesting and raising their babies is such fun. Many times I have drawn the eagles as they are sitting on their nests. This drawing is from several of my sketches and a few photos I took over the years.
I used 4B and 6B graphite pencils for this small eagle portrait. A light spray of acrylic varnish keeps the drawing from smearing.
