About the drawing:
Colorful fall mums are blooming in time for Halloween. Thinking about Halloween and mums gave me an idea of drawing mums in the Halloween spirit. I decided on black vellum and white charcoal pencils to create a ghostly mum.

Since I was going for a ghostly look, this drawing is somewhat muted. I used the white charcoal to highlight any moonlight shining on the mum. Faint petals in the background give the drawing more depth. Enjoy!
