About the painting:
Photos of fancy goldfish that I took at a pet shop was my inspiration for this drawing. I love the swirling tail and fins of this goldfish. I painted him swimming gracefully in a pond among the pond grass.

I used HB and 4B graphite pencils for this drawing. I chose the tan vellum paper to give the feel of watching this beautiful goldfish swimming by in the shadows of the pond.
