About the painting:
There is a homeowner nearby who has the most wonderful patch of cone flowers surrounding her mail box. Her mailbox sits right next to a stop sign. Every summer, as you stop at the stop sign, you get this beautiful view of the blooming cone flowers. I wanted to capture the beauty of the flowers as seen from the passenger seat of the car.
