About the Painting:
For this painting, it was the denim wrapped canvas that was my inspiration. When I saw this canvas, I was really intrigued with the idea of painting on a denim canvas. I thought sunflowers would look awesome on the denim.
I freehand painted an undercoat of gesso for the sunflowers and leaves, and layered acrylic paints over the gesso.
