About the painting:
I've been sketching and painting gnomes this month. They are so darn adorable and very fun to paint. This little guy is based on one of my sketches for a larger painting. I thought he would be perfect on his own canvas with his sweet big red heart.

I jump right into a Valentine'd Day theme with a bright pink background. I used blues, purples, greens, tans, white, and of course red acrylic paints for this painting. I hope he brings a smile to your face :)
